What is a cookie?

A cookie is a computer file which stores information during an online session. For example you could use a cookie to store a person's name so that when they come back to the site the page can say 'Hello, Mary'. This is what is called a persistent cookie as it is not deleted after the session is ended.

Do you use cookies? Yes, but we don't use them to store your personal details. We only use temporary cookies to keep track of the items in your shopping cart while you are shopping. You can also go and look at other sites while you are shopping with us and the 'cookie' will remember what is in your shopping cart when you come back to complete your order. Once you close your browser the 'cookie' is destroyed. We will not use the cookie for anything other than the uses mentioned here.
